Limited Edition Art Apron for Ocean Lovers

40.00

The Limited Edition Ocean Lovers Apron is a new product, featuring my watercolour paintings of whales, sharks and dolphins.  The apron is handmade and is made of ethically sourced natural cotton.  It is printed with environmentally friendly, water based pigments and comes wrapped in acid free tissue in an eco friendly box.  I like to think of it as an ‘Art Apron’ as it’s designed with fairly large paintings of sea creatures and is a bit of a statement piece.  The Ocean Lovers Apron is handmade in Ireland.

This is my first venture into the world of textiles.  The reason I decided on an apron is because there is more room for everything.  It is perfect for anybody who loves the sea.  10% of profits will be given to Sea Shepherd, a charity that stands up for sea creatures and for our environment.

At the moment, these aprons are only available as limited editions in batches.

When I thought about what to call it, I looked at other designers and they had things like London and New York on them.  I’m in Galway these days but what if I moved somewhere else in Ireland.  Anyway, I decided on Planet Earth, because that’s what it’s all about.  It’s not a trade mark, it’s a location.  This apron represents my love for the sea and deciding to stand up for what you love.  I really hope you like it!

Care for your apron

This apron should be washed in a delicate wash at 30 degrees, and ironed with a medium iron on the reverse of the print.  It is not suitable for children.

Sea Shepherd

10% of the profits from the Ocean Lovers aprons will go to Sea Shepherd.  I love this organisation, they’re strong, effective and not administration heavy – meaning that everything that is donated to them goes directly to the cause.
